We use FDA approveded food safe Wood Glue and Mineral Oil.   The mineral oil preserves the board, bringing out the beautiful warm colors and character of the wood.   We do not use wood stains, all our woods are finished naturally with food safe products.  HISTORY:  Our product is made using only premium grade woods.  For a lot of years, we made furniture and have always worked with wood, making things of our own design.  Now it has gotten too difficult for us to handle the big pieces, but we have found we still have a lot of creative talents and energy left in us, so the cutting boards are our latest adventure (3 yrs).  We use an excellant quality, of clear furniture grade premium wood.  Which our customers have come to know and trust.  Our cutting boards are made with pride.  Many hours of labor go into each hand made board.  We strive for variety, originality, durability and beauty.  Our boards are not a hobby with us, they are a commitment!
