See more about 'Vintage Butcher Block' Description    Here's a nice vintage hard maple butcher block.  I've had it for about 35 years  and used it for cutting vegetables for soups or salads, making sandwiches and cutting cooked meat, I never put raw meat on it.  Now we are downsizing and I want to sell it. I don't use it at all, it just sits in the kitchen.  I bought it years ago at an auction.  It stands 32 3/4" tall, 18" wide and almost 18" deep.  It weighs a couple of hundred pounds.  The legs are removeable.   And if you are going to use it for food again it has to be seasoned.  Which  you can do, it is only a matter of washing it down good and rubbing the top with a natural mineral oil.  And to keep it in shape you oil it about every six weeks.  One of the legs has a crack near the top and needs to be filled in with wood filler, it was like that when I bought it and has been sturdy all this time.  Other than that it is great shape.  Please email me if you have  any questions.  Thanks!
