The floor construction is a 14 gauge plate of steel with hundreds of .080 holes. This floor is designed to be a built in screen for filtering over sized particals from the media during the blasting process. This prevents plug ups, only good media can return to the storage hopper. The over sized item can be swept out, not the typical chicken wire like the competition. There is not a blaster like this on the market! There isn't a vacuum system on the market with the ease of maintance and very low noise level  of the BADBOY Blaster,Inc.BV vacuum. The vacuum draw is 280 FCM which ensures a dust free blast area and is adjustable for whatever BADBOY Blaster, Inc. model it is attached to. Every blast cabinet requires a different level of vacuum to operate properly to ensure the upmost in visibility. This gives you almost perfect visibility even when blasting the rusty parts. The vacuum system is powered by a TOTALLY ENCLOSED electric motor built in the vacuum unit. Unlike the brush motor type vacuum this ensures SUPER QUIET operation!!  In a comparison it sounds like a bathroom hair dryer when running. The filtration is twin dust bags and the are mounted vertical in the vacuum cabinet. While the vacuum is in operation since the bags are mounted vertical the dust once it collects into a solid state gravity draws it to the bottom on the vacuum cabinet into a storage area. So to clean simply open the bottom of the system remove the storage tray, dump the collected particals removed while blasting, return the tray and go back to blasting. This vacuum cabinet has heat protection built into the electrical control box for max protection of the vacuum cabinet motor. Excellent Seller!  Even made special arrangements to help me with local delivery.  Tina Fossi   *What can I say, they are the best.  EBay does not have enough space to put what I really think, so I will take up some space to do it here.I have wanted a cabinet blaster for years and have looked at them all.  I purchased the Badboy BB-1000 XL and it is everything they said it was and more.  It was delivered to Kentucky within two days and the packaging was unbelievable.  No damage to the unit and the paint on the unit was flawless with no scratches or dents.  It took a few hours to set up, but then it was just put the media in it and blast.  It is a shame that the paint takes a hit in the blaster, but there is nothing you can do about that.As a customer service person, Mark is the best.  I run a manufacturing operation and have hundreds of different vendors and if just one of them was as good as Mark my days would be a lot shorter and easier.  I think when dictionaries are written the description for customer service should have one word for the description Mark.   If Mark ever gets tired of selling sandblasters for a living, I hope he calls me for his next job.Anyone out there needs a blasting cabinet, get a BADBOY-you will not be sorry you did.  Earl W.
